Conducted at visitation stations around the NRC campus, we have debuted outdoor visits!

Visiting Policies

Offered Monday through Friday and weather permitting, visits will be available in 15-minute time increments, with a maximum number of two visitors per visit.

  • It is required that residents and visitors wear masks, unless medically contraindicated.
  • Refrain from physical contact with your loved one (Sorry! No hand holding, hugs or kisses yet.).
  • Visitors under the age of 12 must be in control of an adult.
  • An NRC designee will monitor visits.
  • You must schedule outdoor visits with Northfield Retirement Community ahead of time.
  • When you arrive, you will be asked to review and sign the Northfield Retirement Community Outdoor Visitation Risk Acknowledgement form and provide contact information in a location outside our building. We may also ask to check your temperature and/or oxygen level taken prior to the visit in a location outside out building.
  • Use hand sanitizer before and after your visit.
  • Practice social distancing by remaining at least 6 feet apart from your loved one and any other resident, staff, or visitor.
  • Remain in designated locations on our campus.
  • The visitor bringing a pet should maintain control of the animal, either with an extendable leash to accommodate 6-foot social distancing or by voice control in case there is a need to quickly retrieve the pet.
