Please know that maintaining the health, wellness and safety of our residents is our number one priority!

We are committed to keeping you up to date on any other changes due to the Minnesota Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control requirements with regard to COVID-19.

Current Communications

Our COVID-19 situation: As of June 3, 2020, we have no positive cases of COVID-19 among residents or staff. Staff members with previous cases have fully recovered and are no longer in need of isolation. Residents and staff continue to fall into the low transmission risk category according to the assessment grid created by the CDC. 

The total current number of cases at NRC is zero. 

We are doing everything we can to minimize the spread of this virus within our setting. We continue our aggressive proactive infection control measures and screening procedures of residents and staff. In addition, we continue to follow all recommended guidance from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the Minnesota Department of Health to protect our residents and staff from this virus. We are working in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Health to ensure we are taking all appropriate steps at this time.

Visitor Information

No Visitor Policy in Effect

NRC has implemented a no visitor policy in accordance with MDH, CDC and CMS guidelines. Please postpone visits to NRC.

Video Conferencing Now Available

We now offer video conference services via Zoom on weekdays. Please fill out a request form and our staff will schedule a call with your resident.

    You can help us during this challenging time. Northfield Retirement Community appreciates gifts from our friends to help our residents and staff. Items we currently need include:

    1. Temporal thermometers
    2. Canvas and paint for residents
    3. Nail polish for residents
    4. Large print word finds and crossword puzzles
    5. Balloons and pool noodles (for residents to play with from doorways with one another)

  • Deliveries

    All deliveries, including Meals on Wheels, must be left in the vestibule for your specific housing location.

    • Deliveries for residents of ParkView East, ParkView West or SouthView Suites should be brought to the ParkView East main entry door.
    • Deliveries for tenants of Northfield Manor should be brought to the Manor main entry door. You must pick up your items from these areas if you are able.
  • No Visitors Allowed

    Residents are not able to “buzz-in” any guests or services. All authorized professional care providers must enter at the employee entrance. Registration and screening is required.

  • Restricted Resident Access

    Resident access into areas of the campus that they do not reside are restricted. Please abide by posted signs and closed doors.

See below for important details related to Northfield Manor, ParkView West and ParkView East during COVID-19, such as meal schedules, garage usage and deliveries.

  • Northfield Manor Details

    Manor Entry

    • All residents must enter and exit through the Manor Main Entrance. The stairwell doors will serve as emergency exits only. Your keys will not open these doors.

    Garage Renters

    • Please refrain from leaving the campus. If you must leave, YOU MUST ENTER AND EXIT THE GARAGE WITH YOUR GARAGE REMOTE.

    Manor Meals

    • You may request a meal from ParkView kitchen by calling 507-664-3473. Meals will be delivered to Burgoyne Commons for tenants to pick up at the indicated time.
    • Breakfast: Cereal/toast/juice/milk/coffee. Call before 8:00 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. delivery.
    • Dinner: Special of the day. Call between 3:30 and 4:45 p.m. for a 5:45 p.m. delivery.
    • Manor noon meal: Please continue to sign up for the noon meal at the podium by 8:00 a.m. You may sign up in advance. The noon meal will be delivered to each floor for pick up in the hallway of the floor that you live on. Meals will arrive between 11:30 am and 11:45 am. Please pick up promptly. The meal will include: Meal of the day (subject to change, based on availability), tossed salad with dressing of the day, dessert of the day and milk.

    Deliveries

    • Deliveries for tenants of Northfield Manor should be brought to the Manor main entry door. You must pick up your items from these areas if you are able.
  • ParkView West Details

    ParkView West Meals

    • Meals will not be served in the dining room. Order a meal to be delivered from ParkView kitchen by calling 507-649-0186.
    • Breakfast: Cereal/toast/juice/milk/coffee. Call before 8:00 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. delivery.
    • Lunch: Special of the day. Call between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. for a 12:45 p.m. delivery.
    • Dinner: Special of the day. Call between 3:30 and 4:45 p.m. for a 6:15 p.m. delivery.

    Garage Renters 

    • Please refrain from leaving the campus. If you must, please exit and enter through hallway doors.

    Deliveries

    • Deliveries for residents of ParkView East, ParkView West or SouthView Suites should be brought to the ParkView East main entry door.
  • ParkView East Details

    ParkView East Meals

    • Meals will not be served in the dining room. All meals will be delivered to your apartment.
    • Meals will be delivered as follows: Breakfast between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., lunch between 11:30 and noon, and dinner between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m.

    Deliveries

    • Deliveries for residents of ParkView East, ParkView West or SouthView Suites should be brought to the ParkView East main entry door.
