Gearing Up for Give to the Max Day on November 15
Northfield Retirement Community is one of many nonprofit organizations throughout the state that will once again ask Minnesotans to display their record-breaking generosity by donating to their favorite charities and schools online at www.GiveMN.org during the fourth annual “Give to the Max Day” on Nov. 15.
NRC’s Vice President of Fund Development, Ingrid Anderson Sampo, said, “We are so grateful for everyone who decides to donate to NRC and show their support on Give to the Max Day. These funds allow us to fulfill our mission of providing premier care and housing for aging individuals.”
Northfield Retirement Community is currently raising funds for several projects:
- The Spiritual Life Endowment ensures a full-time chaplaincy, individualized pastoral care, support from a parish nurse and a range of other spiritual programs.
- Pathways of Faith Park offers a quiet place to experience spiritual renewal and gather with family, friends and the community.
- The NRC Family Fund provides a safety net for residents who may face unexpected financial challenges.
- Undesignated gifts are always welcome and are used in the areas of greatest current need.
Kyle Nordine, president and CEO at NRC, said, “In the past year, Northfield Retirement Community has been awarded the Confident Choices Award, which recognizes the quality of services, programming and amenities offered, as well as the My InnerView’s Annual Excellence in Action Award, a national honor acknowledging a facility’s commitment to superior customer satisfaction. These awards speak to the quality of care we are committed to at NRC and could not provide without the essential support of our donors.”
NRC looks to persons with a philanthropic spirit who believe in its mission to meet the current and emerging needs of the community’s growing senior population. Give to the Max Day offers an exciting and significant opportunity for one-stop, multi-charity giving that is earth-friendly and easily accessible.
