Pathways of Faith Park Adds Water Features
Have you been to NRC’s Pathways of Faith Park lately? The park now includes water features – holding ponds, a rip-rap rock stream and a waterfall – which add pleasant, soothing sounds and sights.
Visitors comment that the combination of sights, smells and sounds creates a perfect environment for spiritual reflection and meditation or a peaceful afternoon adventure.
NRC President and CEO Kyle Nordine says, “The park provides an outdoor experience of nature, spiritual contemplation and healing. It allows for residents, their families and the community to share a time of quiet reflection while enjoying the gifts of creation. We want to encourage all to be a part of nature and to feel the calming effect that the running stream, rushing waterfall, blooming colors of the plantings and the fresh fragrances provide for park visitors.”
Pathways of Faith Park visitors can look forward to additional plantings, trees and signage in the months and years to come. A large cross sculpture will stand at the pinnacle of the path, and a shelter will provide a place to rest in the shade.
