Holiday Appeal Arrives in Mailboxes
Merry Christmas from all of us at Northfield Retirement Community!
We recently sent out our annual Holiday Appeal to our friends and supporters. This special time of holiday giving is an opportunity to support the mission of NRC, and it will help us continue to provide exceptional housing and excellent care to our residents.
The NRC community is very grateful for your financial support, belief in our mission, and dedication to creating the best possible atmosphere for NRC residents, especially during the holiday season.
What Your Giving Supports
Donations and gifts to Northfield Retirement Community benefit our residents and the programs offered to enhance their quality of life for years to come. Your gift can be designated for a number of different areas, including:
- Pathways of Faith Park, which offers NRC residents and the community a place of natural beauty where they can meditate, fellowship with family and friends, and gather as a community. A gift can be earmarked for Raising the Cross that will be placed in the park’s meditation area in the coming year;
- Spiritual Life Endowment, which ensures spiritual care and chaplaincy services for residents to continue on their spiritual journey for years to come;
- NRC Family Fund, which offers financial support to residents experiencing an unexpected financial challenge or delayed government assistance. The fund enables them to reside in their current living situation and continue to receive the care and services they need; and
- Undesignated, in which funds will be used where needed.
For each "in honor of" or "in memory of" gift of $50 or more, a lovely poinsettia plant will be added to our Holiday Tree, creating a festive mood for our Chapel’s Advent and Christmas worship. You may also pick up your plant on Tuesday, January 5, between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. if you wish to keep it.
