2017 NRC Golf Classic a Success
Posted on June 14, 2017
On Thursday, June 1, Northfield Retirement Community celebrated its 11th annual Golf Classic. Each year, the event brings together the greater NRC community and provides financial support for NRC projects and programs. 112 NRC friends and supporters participated in this year's Golf Classic, raising over $40,000 and making it the most successful Golf Classic event yet.
NRC will use the proceeds raised at the 2016 and 2017 Golf Classic events to fund the purchase of the It’s Never 2 Late ® (iN2L) adaptive technology, which has been proven to enhance the quality of life of those with dementia by keeping them connected with their friends and family and offering them meaningful activities. Stay tuned for details on NRC's purchase and implementation of iN2L.
Reflecting on this year’s NRC Golf Classic, Kyle Nordine, president and CEO, said, "It's wonderful to see so many individuals come together to support the NRC community and its residents. It is through their partnership that we're able to truly meet our mission and offer the highest level of care."
Top sponsors of this year's Golf Classic included Neuger Communications Group, Guth Electric, Inc., New Horizon Foods, US Foods, College City Beverage, EduCare by Mirabelle Management, Engage, and Keith Pumper Plumbing & Heating. A full list of sponsors can be found on our website.
Save the date for the 2018 Golf Classic, slated for Thursday, June 7, and stay tuned for registration information in early 2018.
