Northfield Retirement Community Hires Vice President of Fund Development

Northfield Retirement Community (NRC) has hired DawnMarie Vihrachoff as its new Vice President of Fund Development. Vihrachoff, who has extensive experience in fund development and grant writing, began her position on May 1, 2017. In her new role, Vihrachoff will aid in the planning and implementation of annual and long-range fundraising programs that support the strategic goals of NRC.

In addition to fund development and grant writing, Vihrachoff has experience in event planning, donor relations and giving program management. In her years of nonprofit leadership, she has worked on behalf of a variety of local nonprofit organizations, including the Center for Victims of Torture, Children’s Defense Fund-Minnesota and Wellstone Action. Vihrachoff also serves as the Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, a position in which she leads the organization in their faith-based reproductive justice work and helps to organize donor stewardship materials and annual fundraising events.

NRC President and CEO Kyle Nordine said, “It is an exciting time for NRC. We are thrilled to have DawnMarie join our team. Her work experience, talents and energetic attitude will be a valuable addition to our team.”

When asked about her new position, Vihrachoff said, “Northfield Retirement Community does so much to encourage the physical and spiritual well-being of older adults.
