The Northfield Retirement Community has been recognized with a Gold award by MarCom Awards, an organization that honors marketing and communication excellence across a variety of industries. The website received the award in the Nonprofit Website category. MarCom is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), and each year, about 6,000 print and digital entries are submitted from dozens of countries.
NRC unveiled its updated website in early 2017. The objective was to create a user-friendly, informative online experience that serves prospective residents, job seekers, and friends and donors of the organization, among other audiences. Features of the website include a streamlined employment application, an integrated online donation tool, and engaging, interactive coverage of campus life, living options and services at NRC. Users are also able to follow what’s going on at NRC by staying updated on campus news stories and keeping current on the ideas, stories and perspectives that matter most by reading NRC’s Education in Aging blog.
NRC President and CEO Kyle Nordine said, “We are honored that the NRC website has been recognized for its excellence. NRC has consistently led the way in its adoption of technology and innovative approaches to caregiving. Our website is an excellent example of our leadership in this space.”
