Summer Exercise Workshop Series Starts June 18

Northfield Retirement Community will offer free Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance classes beginning June 18 for NRC residents and the Northfield Community.

Tai Ji Quan: Moving For Better Balance is a fall prevention program delivered in three one-hour sessions each week for 10 weeks. This program is best suited for older adults and people with a history of falls or balance disorders. These wellness classes are designed to enhance mobility, body alignment and independence.

These classes can be modified and done in a chair or holding on to a chair for support. All classes include a warm up and core routine and end with a cooldown and breathing practice.

Classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, June 18–August 17, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., at Northfield Retirement Community in the Fountain Fitness Center (910 Cannon Valley Drive, Northfield). Pre-registration is required by June 15.
