Northfield Retirement Community (NRC) spoke with Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) recently to discuss how NRC is doing post-pandemic and while legislators tackle the state budget. In this piece, we're proud to feature staff and resident voices and views, further underscoring the importance of advocating for those we serve and work alongside and highlighting the funding issues that impact our staff and residents.
30% of NRC's revenue comes from state and federal dollars – amounts that are determined by the government. By advocating for senior living facilities to receive a portion of the historic budget surplus, NRC hopes to receive higher reimbursement levels.
